What is a business day?
A business day (working day) is a weekday that is not a weekend and not a public holiday. This calculator excludes weekends and the selected public‑holiday calendar.
Which holidays are included?
By default we include public holidays for the selected country. If a country supports subdivisions/states, you can optionally choose a subdivision for more accurate local holidays.
Are weekend holidays counted twice?
No. Weekend days are already excluded, so a holiday that falls on a weekend will not reduce the working‑day count again.
Can I share a link to my calculation?
Yes. The calculator supports linkable results using query parameters (country, start date, end date), so you can share a prefilled calculation.
